Beastie Boys cancel shows...

The Beastie Boys have canceled a bunch of shows including their two night stand at the Santa Barbara Bowl. Adam "MCA" Yauch was recently diagnosed with cancerous tumor in his left Parotid gland and will have to undergo treatment. Watch the video for the facts...

I wish him well and the speediest of recoveries.

Incubus at the SB Bowl 7-10-09...

The first time I saw Incubus live was in 1996. I was a rookie shooter back then and had traveled down to the S.I.R. sound stages in Los Angeles to photograph a friend's band. Incubus was up first and they blew me away with their sound and energy. I was moved to grab a couple of pics and to this day I want kick myself in the ass for not shooting more. Here's one of Brandon Boyd from that night, still sporting dreads...Last night, 13 years later, Incubus sold out the Santa Barbara Bowl; proving that their sound (though it has changed over the years) and high-energy live performance has staying power. Here's a few from last nights show...
